Week 1: Mediocrity Rules the Day

Hung up in meetings all day. Listed below are the results of the first week of the NFL pool. Remember, we're dropping the worst three weeks, so a bad week is most assuredly not fatal to your chance. Here we go:

First place: CU Lions, 40 points
Second place: MPS, 31 points
Third place: Geaux Irish, 30 points
Fourth place: Clown Hater, 11 points

I'll do a full roundup of all of the games I saw plus some additional snide comments tomorrow.

Back to my TPS reports.

So when the subroutine compounds the interest, right, it uses all these extra decimals places that just get rounded off. So we just simplify the whole thing and we just round it down and drop the remainder into an account that we own.

So you're stealing.

Ah, no. No. You don't understand. It's, uh, very complicated. It's, uh, it's, it's aggregate so I'm talking about fractions of a cent that, uh, over time, they add up to a lot.

Ok. So you're gonna make a lot of money, right?

Yeah.

Ok. That's not yours?

Well, it, it becomes ours.

How's that not stealing?

Oddly appropriate for my industry.

I believe you have my stapler.

They switched from the Swingline to the Boston, but I kept my Swingline because it didn't bind up as much. I also kept the staples for my Swingline.

Yes, but the cake to person ratio...

Fourth isn't bad...except I have a funny feeling that only four of us participated this week.
